St Austell is an old market town just a few miles from the coast and houses one of Cornwall's biggest towns. It was for centuries an important mining town but it was the important discovery of china clay in the 18th Century that really put the town on the map.

St Austell's railway station, sports / leisure centre and several pubs / restaurants are within 10 - 20 minute walk and local buses stop close by and at the station.
